12 30 12 – Psalm 111 Setting by Henry V. Gerike

Heather Lunneberg, Cantor

Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.

Praise the Lord, I will extol the Lord with | all my heart
in the council of the upright and in the as-| sembly.
Great are the works | of the Lord;
they are pondered by all who de-| light in them.

Glorious and majestic | are His deeds,
and His righteousness endures for-| ever.
He has caused His wonders to be re-| membered;
the Lord is gracious and com-| passionate.
He provides food for those who | fear Him;
He remembers His covenant for-| ever.
He has shown His people the power | of His works,
giving them the lands of other | nations.

The works of His hands are faith-| full and just;
all His precepts are | trustworthy.
They are steadfast for ever and | ever,
done in faithfulness and up-| rightness.
He provided redemption for His people;
He ordained His covenant for-| ever–
holy and awesome | is His name.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of | wisdom;
all who follow His precepts have good understanding.
to Him belongs e-| ternal praise.

Glory be to the Father and | to the Son
and to the Holy | Spirit;
as it was in the be-| ginning,
is now, and will be forever. | Amen
